Tractors are not only machines, they are like tools, really big tools.  You need to be educated on how to use them properly and how to take care of them when they are not in use.  The great thing with tractors is that unlike cars, the older they are doesn’t necessarily mean the worse they are.  The worth of a tractor is measured in hours used and not in how old the tractor is.  The tractor itself could be 30 years old, but has only been used a total of two thousand hours and it would obviously be better than a tractor that is 3 years old and has been used 30,000 hours.  The age of a tractor also means that the parts have been around a lot longer.  That means that these parts may be a lot cheaper than the newer parts of a brand new tractor.
